Our International Relations programme offers a disciplined and forward-looking education in global politics, diplomacy, security and international law, grounded in strong analytical training and a clear understanding of Azerbaijan’s strategic environment. The programme brings together political theory and comparative politics, regional and global history, international institutions and foreign policy analysis with research methods that prepare students to study international processes with evidence and intellectual rigour. Students engage with contemporary challenges such as globalization, climate change, migration, energy security, cybersecurity and information competition while developing the professional skills required for diplomacy, mediation, public policy and strategic communication. The programme cultivates leadership, civic responsibility and a strong capacity to express well-argued positions in more than one foreign language, preparing graduates for public service, international organizations, research, media and related professional fields.
