Student Youth Organization

The Student Youth Organization is a university-based platform designed to increase students' social, academic, and cultural involvement. The organization supports students' ideas and initiatives, represents their rights, and helps them develop leadership and organizational skills.

The SYO encourages students to become responsible and proactive young people, acting as a bridge between the university, the students, and society.

Key areas of activity:

  • Developing leadership and management skills;
  • Organizing social and public projects;
  • Promoting national values and active citizenship;
  • Supporting students' personal and professional growth;
  • Protecting and representing student rights.

To achieve these goals, the SYO regularly organizes trainings, seminars, conferences, social campaigns, and intellectual events, as well as volunteering and social responsibility projects.

The main goal of the organization is to develop students who are active, innovative, and have a global mindset. By participating in the SYO, students improve their skills in leadership, teamwork, strategic planning, and public communication.

The Student Youth Organization of Karabakh University was established in November 2024.

The current Chairman is Ilyas Safarli Elgiz, a 3rd-year student majoring in Accounting at the Faculty of Business and Economics.

Values Club

The Values Club works to protect national and moral values among students. It focuses on building a culture of ethical behavior and strengthening the principles of mutual respect. The club aims to increase students' sense of social responsibility by organizing educational meetings, social initiatives, and discussions. Here, students gain new knowledge and experience to become helpful and responsible members of society. The club also promotes healthy communication and a value-based approach within the university.

Young Lawyers Club

The Young Lawyers Club works to increase interest in the law, improve students' legal knowledge, and promote legal awareness. The club organizes legal seminars, discussions, and mock trials (practice court cases). Here, students develop their legal thinking skills and learn about real-life legal situations. The club helps young people become more legally literate and promotes the principles of justice.

Agaoglu Law Society

The Agaoglu Law Society is a "think tank" dedicated to the development of law and the formation of legal consciousness among future lawyers. The Society organizes mock trials, provides legal training, hosts debates and conferences, manages a blog, and publishes a law journal. It also carries out other activities that are not prohibited by the rules to support students' development.

Psychology Society

The Psychology Society was founded with a mission to share psychological knowledge, raise awareness about mental health, and improve the quality of life for students and the people of Karabakh. A key technical goal is to bring together psychology students, encourage them to share their experiences, and help them gain the skills needed for their future academic and professional success.

Main objectives:

  • Support Groups: Creating psychological support groups for students.
  • Stress Management: Teaching students how to manage stress effectively.
  • Academic Support: Helping students overcome exam anxiety and navigate their academic periods in a healthy way.
  • Practical Experience: Psychology students will participate in intensive training and internship programs to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.

The ultimate goal of the society is to empower every student at Karabakh University to manage their challenges in a healthy and positive way.
