Since 1997, he has worked as a research engineer (1997-1998), assistant (1998-2006), senior lecturer (2006-2011), and associate professor in the department of “Machine Design and Hoisting and transportation Machines” of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) from 2012 to 2017.

In 2001, he entered the postgraduate course of Azerbaijan Technical University, and in 2005, he defended his candidate's dissertation on the topic “Development of scientific foundations of the refined calculation of hydrodynamic journal bearings” in the specialty 05.02.02 - “Mechanical engineering, machine parts and transmission systems”, and on 24.06.2008 he received the degree of candidate of technical sciences, and on 20.09.2013 he received the scientific title of associate professor.

In 2013, he was admitted to the doctoral program of AzTU for the preparation of a doctor of sciences. He is preparing for the defense of his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Development of new constructive solutions for transmission mechanisms of elevator transmissions”.

Since 2012, he has been one of the founders of the Faculty of Special Techniques and Technology, established at AzTU by order of the Ministry of Defense Industry, and worked as the deputy dean until 15.09.2017.

Since 15.02.2017, he has worked as an associate professor at Baku Engineering University, from 20.09.2018 to 31.12.2019 he has worked as the head of the Department of Mechanics, and from 28.12.2019 to 03.07.2024 he has worked as the dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

Since 03.07.2024, he is the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Karabakh University.

He is the author of more than 60 scientific works, including 4 books (textbooks), and 3 inventions.
