School of Medicine and Health Sciences

Campus life

Our School is housed in a modern, purpose-built campus designed to support high-quality education and collaboration. The building is directly connected to the Qarabağ University Clinic through an internal corridor, enabling seamless integration between academic learning and clinical practice.

The campus spans four floors, each thoughtfully themed to reflect Azerbaijan’s natural and cultural heritage: the basement level features rooms named after historic caves, the first floor after rivers, the second floor after flowers, and the third floor after mountain peaks. The interiors are enriched with colorful wall art, creating an engaging and inspiring learning environment.

Students benefit from multiple group study rooms designed for collaborative work, as well as two computer labs and a central reading hall. In addition, many teaching spaces can also be used as flexible study areas. The campus includes a Student Affairs Office, cloakroom facilities, and a café that will begin operating soon.

For hands-on learning and research, the Faculty offers a wide range of Skills and Training Laboratories, along with advanced Research Laboratories under NOBELab, including a main lab, PCR laboratory, cell culture laboratory, and a VR lab. The campus also features a conference room and a separate 100-seat auditorium named “Nakhchivan,” located outside the main teaching building, designed for larger academic events and gatherings.

Overall, the campus provides a dynamic and integrated environment that supports both academic excellence and student life.
