The Folk Instruments Orchestra composed of students is a creative ensemble of great importance in preserving, developing, and passing on national musical traditions to the younger generation.

One of the main objectives of the student orchestra is to develop students’ ensemble performance skills, familiarize them with collective musical culture, and provide them with stage experience. Throughout this process, students learn to work with a conductor, maintain rhythmic and intonational accuracy, and coordinate effectively with other performers.

The orchestra’s repertoire includes examples of Azerbaijani folk music, arrangements of folk songs, as well as works by world composers. This creates a foundation for developing both traditional and academic musical taste.
