School of Medicine and Health Sciences

Research

Research is integrated longitudinally across the curriculum, beginning in Year 1.

Students receive dedicated research training and are progressively prepared to design, conduct, and interpret scientific studies.

Faculty members also contribute actively to research alongside their teaching responsibilities, helping to foster a strong academic and scholarly environment.

The Faculty’s Research Committee oversees and supports research development in alignment with institutional priorities and international standards.

Faculty and students engage in clinical research, public health studies, health systems analysis, health professions education research, and translational and laboratory sciences.

This integrated approach to research training promotes analytical thinking, scientific inquiry, and evidence-based practice from the early stages of education.
