Course Description

This course introduces students to the functioning of national and global economies at the macro level. Students study key concepts such as economic growth, inflation, unemployment, fiscal policy and monetary policy, as well as the role of governments and central banks in managing economic performance. The course also examines international economic relations, including trade, capital flows and exchange rates, helping students understand how macroeconomic forces shape political stability, development and global power relations.
