History
Our History programme offers a rigorous education in historical knowledge, historical thinking and scholarly practice, combining national heritage with a broad comparative understanding of world history. The curriculum moves from prehistory to the contemporary era and trains students to analyze political, social, economic and cultural transformations across regions and civilizations, with particular attention to Azerbaijan as one of the ancient homelands of human civilization. Students develop skills in historiography, source studies, archaeology and ethnography, learning how evidence is found, verified, interpreted and presented with academic integrity. The programme also strengthens communication in Azerbaijani and English, supports confident use of a foreign language and prepares graduates to work in education, research, cultural heritage, public communication and related fields that require disciplined analysis and responsible historical judgment.
