Course Description
This course examines global history from 1500 to the contemporary era, focusing on major transitions that reshaped world political and social structures. Students study the Renaissance, Reformation, Scientific Revolution, Enlightenment, and the era of global empires, followed by industrialization, revolutions, world wars, decolonization, and globalization. The course compares how political ideologies, economic systems, technological innovation, and transnational trends shaped relations among societies and civilizations, developing the ability to analyze global change through evidence-based interpretation and critical thinking.
