Background
Vasila Ibadli Krepps is a lecturer and researcher in history. She holds a B.A., M.A., and PhD from Baku State University. She has an academic background in history and international relations, with teaching experience at Baku State University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy, Western Caspian University and Khazar University. She is currently affiliated with our university, where she teaches the History and Culture of Azerbaijan, the History of Civilisations, and Career Planning and Soft Skills. Her teaching and academic work cover European and American history, philosophy, multiculturalism, political science, and geopolitics.

Research Interests
Her research focuses on international relations, Middle East politics and French foreign policy, with particular attention to the period 1991-2018. Her work examines France’s engagement in the Middle East through historical and political analysis, including studies such as The Middle East in French Foreign Policy During the Presidency of Emmanuel Macron (2023) and France’s Energy Policy in the Middle East and Its Environmental Impacts (1993-2018) (2025).
