Course Description
This course teaches the scientific, technological, and artistic foundations of the project design process in interior design, graphic design, and fashion design. Project Design provides students with the opportunity to apply theoretical design principles in practice, guiding them systematically through all stages of the creative process—from conceptualization to realization.
The course covers the key stages of project development across various design fields—interior, graphic, and fashion design—including planning principles, technical and aesthetic criteria, and the interaction between form, function, and material. Students learn the complete process from the formation of a project idea to its visual presentation and implementation.
The course aims to equip students with comprehensive scientific and practical knowledge of design project creation. It also integrates modern technologies—such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Clo3D, CorelDRAW, and others—into the design process, enhancing students’ digital design skills.
Project Design 1 cultivates professional thinking in design, combining creativity with a scientific approach. It unites conceptual, aesthetic, and technological aspects, enabling students to understand the entire design process from idea to realization. Consequently, the course lays a solid theoretical and practical foundation for producing innovative, aesthetic, and functional projects in students’ future professional work.
