Course Description

This course is aimed at developing students’ fundamental performance skills on the piano and enhancing their overall level of musical training. Throughout the course, students acquire basic and intermediate piano techniques, music reading skills, and practical abilities related to the perception of polyphonic and homophonic textures, as well as rhythmic and intonational accuracy.

Instruction includes systematic work on classical and pedagogical repertoire, contributing to the development of students’ musical memory, aural skills, and ensemble awareness. The course supports the acquisition of piano skills as an auxiliary instrument, facilitates the comprehension of music-related subjects, and serves to enrich students’ overall musical culture.
