Background

Narmin Rzayeva was born in 1994 in Baku, Azerbaijan. She received her early musical
education in piano and composition at the G.G. Sharoyev Music School and graduated with
distinction. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Uzeyir Hajibeyli Baku Music
Academy and later earned her Master’s degree in solo piano performance.
Between 2009 and 2012, she served as a soloist and accompanist with the Azerbaijan State
Youth Folk Instruments Orchestra. From 2015 to 2022, she worked as a concertmaster at
the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic Hall, gaining extensive experience in chamber
and symphonic repertoire.
She is a laureate of several international competitions and was awarded Third Prize at the
Vienna International Piano Competition in 2024. She has performed in various countries in
solo and ensemble concert programs.
She currently works as a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of Karabakh University.
