Zamina Ziyayeva
Background
In 2016, Zamina Ziyayeva was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology with a specialization in Turkic Languages and Literature. Her scholarly work focuses on the structural characteristics of Turkic languages, including phonetic and lexical analysis, as well as historical and theoretical aspects of Turkic literature.
She has extensive teaching experience at leading higher education institutions in the country. At Baku Engineering University and Khazar University, she taught courses in Turkology, Phonetics, and Turkish Culture within programs in Philology and Pedagogy. In her teaching practice, she emphasizes the systematic development of theoretical knowledge, comparative linguistic analysis, and a research-based understanding of national and cultural heritage.
Her academic and pedagogical activities are grounded in scholarly rigor, methodological soundness, and the application of contemporary teaching approaches.
