Sevda Fatullayeva
Background
In 2005, she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry in the specialty of Chemical Kinetics and Catalysis. In 2019, she received the academic title of Associate Professor.
She is currently pursuing the Doctor of Sciences degree in Macromolecular Chemistry at the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Dr. Fatullayeva has extensive teaching experience at leading higher education institutions, including Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan Medical University, and the Baku Branch of I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.
She is the author of more than 70 scientific publications, including textbooks and patents, and has participated in numerous international training programs, conferences and research projects in the country and abroad.
Her research focuses on the design and synthesis of functional “smart” polymer materials for selective removal of heavy metal ions, as well as their environmental and biomedical applications.
