Background
Amin Huseynov is engaged in academic and pedagogical work in the fields of education and linguistics. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Education at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
He has teaching experience in both higher and secondary education institutions. He currently serves at Karabakh University and previously taught at Khazar University, delivering courses such as English Language, TESOL, Stylistics, Academic English, Communicative English, and Translation. At the secondary education level, he worked as an EFL teacher and IB CAS Coordinator.
In 2022, he translated the book Tale of Darkness, published in the United States, from Azerbaijani into English. In addition, he served as an interpreter during the Baku 2015 European Games and at international events organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
For professional development, he has completed certification programs in TESOL Methodology (University of Maryland), Cambridge Lower Secondary English as a Second Language, and IB DP CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service).
His academic and teaching practice is grounded in modern instructional methodologies, the communicative approach, and principles of academic professionalism.
