Course Description
This course is designed to develop students’ ensemble performance skills, musical listening culture, and a sense of shared artistic responsibility. Throughout the course, students gain practical experience in performing within small instrumental or vocal-instrumental ensembles, learning to maintain internal ensemble balance as well as rhythmic and intonational accuracy.
The course fosters the development of leadership, mutual adaptation, and the ability to express musical ideas collectively in ensemble performance. By performing works from various historical periods and stylistic traditions, students expand their repertoire knowledge and engage in comparative analysis of musical styles.
During practical sessions, ensemble participants acquire essential skills related to stage presence, performance ethics, and artistic presentation. The course also strengthens students’ abilities in active listening, coordination, and the harmonious construction of musical interaction.
As a result, students master the fundamental principles of ensemble performance and demonstrate creative initiative and responsibility within collective musical activities.
