Course Description

Within the framework of this course, students acquire essential skills for working as accompanists with soloists and ensemble performers, including mutual listening, preservation of the stylistic characteristics of musical material, coordination with performance partners, and accurate interpretation of the musical score.

During the course, systematic work is carried out on vocal and instrumental repertoire, and students study the functional role of the accompanist within an ensemble, as well as effective approaches to solving technical and musical challenges that arise in the performance process.

The course aims to develop students’ stage culture, responsiveness, professional construction of musical accompaniment, and practical performance skills at an advanced level.
