Course Description
This course examines the vocabulary system of the Azerbaijani language, including lexical categories, semantic relations, word-formation processes, and variations within the literary language. Students analyze the structure, meaning, and usage of words across different linguistic contexts and explore principles of expanding vocabulary and understanding lexical meaning. Through readings, discussions, and practical analytical tasks, learners deepen their understanding of Azerbaijani lexicon and develop competencies in interpreting word meanings, analyzing semantic connections, and applying lexicological concepts in teaching and communication.
