Background

Murad Hasanov is a PhD candidate in International Relations at Istanbul University (since 2025). He holds a BA from Corvinus University of Budapest (2016-2019) and an MA from Central European University (2019-2023).

He has an academic background in political theory and international relations, with a strong focus on European studies. His education across Hungary and Central Europe has provided him with a comparative and interdisciplinary perspective on political systems, governance and transnational processes. He has engaged in academic research and coursework in critical theory, European integration and global politics.
