Course Description

This course aims to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of design, fostering creative and analytical thinking abilities. The course focuses on the theoretical foundations of design, design elements and principles of composition, and the harmonious interaction of concepts such as form, line, color, texture, proportion, symmetry, balance, and contrast.
Students gain knowledge of color theory and color harmony, learning to understand and apply color relationships, contrasts, and harmonies, as well as the emotional and psychological effects of color in design projects. As a result, students systematically master the theoretical and practical foundations of design, create compositions that balance aesthetic harmony and functional requirements, apply color–form relationships at a professional level, and develop the ability to prepare and present independent design projects through creative and analytical approaches to design problems.
