Course Description
This course introduces the precise measurement techniques and spatial data collection methods required for engineering projects. The curriculum covers linear and angular measurements, leveling, and the use of advanced instruments such as total stations and GPS/GNSS receivers. Students learn to perform topographic mapping, set out construction points, and monitor structural deformations. The course emphasizes the calculation of coordinates, volumes of earthwork, and the integration of field data into digital formats. By the end of the semester, students will be capable of ensuring the accurate positioning of infrastructure elements according to design specifications and site requirements.
