Background
In 2007, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology (specialization in Azerbaijani Literature);
In 2016, he received the academic title of Associate Professor; and in 2024, he was conferred the degree of Doctor of Philological Sciences.
He possesses extensive pedagogical experience at the country’s leading secondary specialized and higher education institutions. He has taught Azerbaijani Literature, the History of the Azerbaijani Language, and the Methodology of Teaching Azerbaijani Language and Literature to students of the SABAH groups at the Military Lyceum named after J. Nakhchivanski, Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, and Baku Slavic University.
He has held the positions of Research Fellow at the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Senior Research Fellow at the House-Museum of Huseyn Javid, Scientific Secretary, and Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs at the Institute of Manuscripts named after Muhammad Fuzuli.
He is the author of more than 120 scholarly publications, including monographs and textbooks, and has participated in numerous research projects in the country and abroad. His research focuses on the poetico-linguistic, psychopoetic, and comparative analysis of the works of classical and contemporary Azerbaijani poets.
Currently, he serves as the Head of the Department of Philology at Karabakh University.
