Course Description

This course develops students’ academic literacy, enabling them to read and write scholarly texts with clarity, coherence, and analytical depth. Learners practice strategies for understanding complex texts, evaluating arguments, synthesizing information from multiple sources, and building evidence-based claims.
The writing component focuses on thesis development, organization, academic style, citation, revision, and argumentation. Through guided reading tasks, writing assignments, and peer feedback, students strengthen their ability to communicate ideas persuasively in both oral and written forms and model effective academic literacy for future learners.
