Course Description
This course introduces fundamental techniques for organizing and processing data efficiently. The curriculum focuses on basic data structures, including arrays, linked lists, stacks, and queues, alongside their memory representations. Students learn essential algorithms for sorting and searching, while exploring the basics of Big O notation to analyze time and space complexity. The course emphasizes logical thinking and the practical implementation of these structures in high-level programming languages. By the end of the semester, students will be able to select and apply appropriate data structures to optimize software performance and solve algorithmic challenges.
