Background

Sabina Arabli was born on November 5, 1991, in the city of Baku. From the age of four, she began her artistic journey in the “Jujalarim” dance group at the Children and Youth Cultural Center named after Tofig Ismayilov.

In 2001, she was admitted to Music School No. 34 of Khatai district, specializing in piano, and later continued her education in the mugham class at the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School.

In 2004–2005, she became a laureate of the “Kainat” Children’s Mugham Festival, and in 2005 she won first place at the festival titled “Karabakh, My Pain, My Pride.” In 2009, she became a finalist of the “People’s Star” television competition. In the same year, she enrolled in the Solo Performance faculty of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory (2009–2013). In 2011, she became the winner of the Azerbaijan Television Mugham Competition, and in 2013 she was awarded second place at the National Mugham Competition.

She completed her master’s degree (2013–2015) at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, specializing in the History, Theory, and Methodology of Mugham Art. During her artistic career, she has successfully represented Azerbaijan in more than 15 countries.
