On June 19, 2006, he defended his dissertation at the Saint Petersburg Military Medical Academy and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences (PhD in Medicine).
Professional Experience
From 2008 to 2019, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after Aziz Aliyev. From 2019 to 2023, he served as Associate Professor at the same department.
In 2012, he was awarded a research grant from the Science Development Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2nd Grant Competition).
Scientific and Clinical Interests
His primary scientific and medical activities focus on acute and chronic laryngeal diseases, the etiopathogenesis of voice disorders in professional voice users, and the investigation of modern diagnostic and treatment methods.
He is a Board Member of the Union of European Phoniatricians, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Otorhinolaryngology Society, and Vice President of the Central and Western Asia Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Association.
In 2015, he participated in clinical observership programs on “Evaluation and Treatment of Voice Disorders” at the University of Pittsburgh and Cleveland Clinic Voice Centers (USA). He has also completed advanced training courses at various scientific centers in Turkey, Europe, and Russia.
He has presented the results of his research at more than 60 international and national scientific congresses and is the author of 109 scientific publications, including 16 articles indexed in Web of Science.
He is the founder of the APDVoice platform, designed for the systematic and structured collection and analysis of AI-based clinical data, enabling single- and multicenter scientific research without additional tools, ensuring secure data exchange with protection of confidential patient information, and facilitating the discussion and management of complex clinical cases.
Since 2025, he has been working at Karabakh University in the Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences and Arts. At the Faculty of Arts, he initiated—for the first time in Azerbaijan—the teaching of Vocology as a formal course for students receiving vocal training.
