Course Description
This course develops students’ academic reading and writing skills for university-level work. It covers the structure and genres of academic texts, effective use of sources, and the rules of paraphrasing, quoting, and referencing. Students learn to identify main ideas, analyze information critically, and produce well-structured essays and short academic texts. The course also guides students through the stages of essay writing. By the end, learners can interpret scholarly texts and apply academic writing conventions accurately in their own work.
