Course Description
This course examines the diversity, external and internal structural characteristics, life processes, and ecological roles of major vertebrate groups. Students study the taxonomy, morphology, anatomy, physiology, and behavioral patterns of fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Emphasis is placed on understanding evolutionary relationships among vertebrates and the adaptations that enable them to thrive in different environments.
The course also highlights the ecological significance of vertebrates, their interactions with human society, and their role in the conservation of biological diversity. Through theoretical study and practical applications, students develop a solid foundation in vertebrate biology and gain the essential skills needed to apply this knowledge in scientific and pedagogical contexts.
