Course Description
This course explores the diversity, structural characteristics, life processes, and ecological significance of major invertebrate groups. Beginning with protists and progressing through sponges, cnidarians, worms, mollusks, arthropods, and other invertebrate phyla, students examine their taxonomy, morphology, anatomy, and physiology. The course also emphasizes the ecological roles of invertebrates, their interactions with human activity, and their importance in maintaining biological balance within natural ecosystems. Through theoretical study and practical applications, students gain fundamental knowledge of invertebrate biology and develop the skills necessary to apply these concepts in scientific and pedagogical contexts.
