Job description
  • Teaching courses in accordance with the assigned teaching load;
  • Preparing course syllabi;
  • Participating in the organization of student and faculty exhibitions;
  • Developing individual or commissioned (including state-commissioned) author projects (graphics, interior design, fine and applied arts works);
  • Participating in the assessment of students’ knowledge;
  • Preparing proposals related to relevant program activities;
  • Actively participating in the organization of faculty events related to social, public, and educational matters beyond the teaching process.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in the relevant field (a PhD or other academic degree is considered an advantage);
  • Academic, pedagogical, and creative work experience in the relevant field at higher education institutions (this requirement may be waived for graduates of reputable universities);
  • Fluency in written and spoken Azerbaijani;
  • Ability to effectively use information and communication technologies (ICT) in the teaching process;
  • Ability to apply student-centered and competency-based teaching approaches;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Leadership and management skills.
