Job description
- Teaching courses in accordance with the assigned teaching load;
- Preparing course syllabi;
- Participating in the organization of student and faculty exhibitions;
- Developing individual or commissioned (including state-commissioned) author projects (graphics, interior design, fine and applied arts works);
- Participating in the assessment of students’ knowledge;
- Preparing proposals related to relevant program activities;
- Actively participating in the organization of faculty events related to social, public, and educational matters beyond the teaching process.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in the relevant field (a PhD or other academic degree is considered an advantage);
- Academic, pedagogical, and creative work experience in the relevant field at higher education institutions (this requirement may be waived for graduates of reputable universities);
- Fluency in written and spoken Azerbaijani;
- Ability to effectively use information and communication technologies (ICT) in the teaching process;
- Ability to apply student-centered and competency-based teaching approaches;
- Strong communication skills;
- Leadership and management skills.
