Course Description

This course provides students with the essential theoretical and practical skills required to strengthen visual messages through typography, accurately convey content to the reader, and create aesthetically engaging visual experiences in a structured manner. Typography in this context is not limited to visual appeal, but also serves as a key component in ensuring the communicative effectiveness of design.
The primary objective of the course is to develop students’ ability to use text effectively and purposefully as a visual language, synthesizing readability, hierarchy, and typographic harmony with aesthetic principles. As an integral part of visual communication culture in graphic design, the Typography course guides students toward creating typographic solutions that align with both local and global design standards.
As a result, graduates acquire the competence to apply both technical precision and artistic expression at a professional level when developing text-based visual projects for digital and print media.
