Course Description
This course teaches the peculiarities of managing transport systems, the place of transportation in the logistics concept, modern requirements for transport logistics, and transport development trends. It covers cargo, cargo flows, and their properties, the characteristics, analysis, and modeling of cargo flows, the concept of transport infrastructure and its main features, transport corridors, transport terminals, and terminal transport technologies, logistics centers, transport operators and transport services. Furthermore, it studies the state regulation of transport activities, sustainable development principles in the management of transport systems, contracts and documents related to transportation, and the role and characteristics of various modes of transport in logistics provision.
