Course Description
A brief overview of the historical development of tourism worldwide, across global regions and subregions, particularly in more developed countries, is examined, along with the factors influencing this development. The course analyzes the current state of modern tourism, the reasons for the emergence of new tourism regions, and the formation of well-known tourist destinations. Among the factors affecting this process, the role of political, economic, and social conditions, alongside natural resources, in the development of tourism in specific areas is evaluated. At the same time, the main types of tourism in recognized destinations are identified. The key factors influencing tourist flows are classified as natural, anthropogenic, and ethnographic resources, and increased attention to these resources by governing bodies contributes positively to the development of both domestic and international tourism.
