Course Description
The Stylization in Graphic Design course is a practice-oriented subject that examines the principles of simplifying, generalizing, and enhancing the artistic expressiveness of form, imagery, and visual elements in graphic design. The course develops students’ ability to transform real objects, images, and concepts into stylized graphic forms and enhances figurative thinking within the visual communication process.
The primary objective of the course is to familiarize students with the areas of application of stylization in graphic design and its role in shaping visual language. Within the course framework, students study concepts such as the simplification of form and line, rhythm, silhouette, symbolism, and imagery, and apply stylization in logos, illustrations, pictograms, posters, branding, and digital design products through practical assignments.
