Course Description
This course introduces the systematic, disciplined, and quantifiable approach to the development, operation, and maintenance of software. The curriculum covers the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements engineering, architectural design, and testing methodologies. Students explore various process models such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, while emphasizing software quality assurance and project management. The course also addresses version control and collaborative development tools. By the end of the semester, students will understand how to apply engineering principles to create reliable, efficient, and maintainable software systems that meet user needs and industry standards.
