Course Description
This course examines the natural–geographical conditions, socio-economic development patterns, and cultural diversity of the world’s regions. Students analyze physical geographical factors—such as climate, landforms, water resources, soils, and vegetation—alongside demographic, economic, political, and cultural characteristics. The course introduces key methods of regional geography and emphasizes comparative analysis across regions. Students explore the interactions between global and regional processes and develop an understanding of geopolitical and economic integration in different parts of the world. Designed for future educators, the course builds the skills needed to interpret regional dynamics and apply them effectively in teaching and educational contexts.
