Course Description
In this block, students engage in community-level health activities: conducting patient consultations in primary health care facilities, organizing referrals and participating in community-based research and health-education interventions. Its aim is to link the social, ethical and systemic dimensions of medical practice with practical experience.
In Family Medicine, students plan individual and family care, manage chronic diseases over the long term and provide patient education.
In Public Health, they analyze population health indicators, conduct community-based research and design preventive interventions.
In Emergency Medicine, they practice first response, on-site assessment and coordinated medical assistance in emergencies at community level.
