A Karabakh University Staff Member Participates in a Prestigious International Conference in the United States
Sakhavat Dadashov, Head of the Chemistry Laboratory at the Faculty of Education of Karabakh University, participated in ICACC 2026 (the 50th International Conference and Exposition on Advanced Ceramics and Composites), held in the state of Florida, USA, and regarded as one of the most prestigious scientific events in its field worldwide.
At the “Golden Jubilee” event organized by the American Ceramic Society (ACerS), S. Dadashov delivered both a poster presentation and an oral presentation, sharing the results of his scientific research.
Within the framework of the conference, Sakhavat Dadashov also took part in a special tour to the Kennedy Space Center—one of the key scientific and space exploration facilities of NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Administration)—together with young researchers from various countries.
It should be noted that Sakhavat Dadashov earned the opportunity to participate in this prestigious event as a recipient of competitive grant programs. He was selected as one of 30 winners across Europe within the framework of the “2026 ECerS International Ceramist Student Exchange Program” organized by the European Ceramic Society (ECerS).
In addition, the young researcher was also selected as a winner of the “Student and Young Professionals Registration Waiver Program” competition organized by the Engineering Ceramics Division of the American Ceramic Society.
