Karabakh University expands international cooperation opportunities

Karabakh University continues to advance its efforts to strengthen international partnerships. In this context, Dmitri Pinevich, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Azerbaijan, paid an official visit to the University.

During the visit, Ambassador Pinevich met with the Rector of Karabakh University, Shahin Bayramov. The meeting featured an extensive exchange of views on the University’s activities, its strategic development priorities, and prospects for international cooperation.

The parties discussed potential avenues for collaboration between Karabakh University and Belarusian higher education institutions in the fields of education and research. These included student and academic staff exchange programs, joint scientific research projects, and partnership opportunities in innovation.

As part of the visit, the Ambassador was introduced to the University’s main academic building, as well as the infrastructure and material-technical base of the Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences and Business and Economics. He toured lecture halls, specialized laboratories, and other academic facilities, and was provided with comprehensive information on modern teaching practices and the academic and social environment created for students.

The Ambassador also met with Samir Babayev, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and Director General of the Karabakh University Clinic. The meeting focused on medical education, the development of clinical infrastructure, opportunities for practical training, and prospects for international cooperation in the healthcare sector.

In addition, during a visit to the Faculty of Arts, a special concert program prepared by students and faculty members was presented in honor of the Ambassador. The musical performances were received with great interest, and the Ambassador also viewed a creative exhibition organized within the Faculty.
