Course Description
This course equips future educators with the pedagogical knowledge and skills necessary for effectively teaching science to primary school students. Throughout the course, strategies for engaging learners in hands-on, inquiry-based instruction and for developing their scientific understanding are examined. Topics include designing a curriculum appropriate for primary science education, lesson planning, instructional methods, and assessment techniques. Course priorities include exploring how science can be integrated with other subject areas, as well as teaching the use of laboratories, modern technologies, and other relevant resources to enhance learning. Through practical activities and reflective practice, the course focuses on organizing dynamic and inclusive lessons that spark curiosity, foster critical thinking, and develop problem-solving skills in young learners.
