Course Description
This course explores the fundamental principles and architecture of wireless mobile networks. The curriculum covers cellular concepts, including frequency reuse, handoff strategies, and interference management. Students study various generations of mobile technology from 2G to 5G, focusing on multiple access techniques like TDMA, CDMA, and OFDM. The course examines signal propagation models, fading effects, and digital modulation schemes specific to wireless channels. By the end of the semester, students will understand the technical evolution of mobile data services and be able to analyze the performance of modern wireless communication infrastructures.
