Course Description
This course focuses on the practical design and implementation of embedded systems using modern microcontrollers. The curriculum covers internal architecture, memory mapping, and peripheral interfacing, including GPIOs, timers, and interrupts. Students learn to develop firmware using C or assembly language to control hardware components and process real-time data. Key topics include analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) and serial communication protocols like UART, SPI, and I2C. By the end of the semester, students will be capable of designing, programming, and debugging integrated systems for automation, sensing, and consumer electronics applications.
