Between March 26–28, 2026, the Community-Based Education (CBE) team of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Qarabağ University participated in the BIBAK2026 international congress held at Marmara University.

As part of the congress, the team delivered a workshop titled “Qarabağ Community-Based Education Model – An Academic Perspective.” The session outlined the academic foundations, key strengths, and future development directions of the model, followed by discussions with experts in the field.

Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of multidisciplinary education—especially the integrated learning model involving nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals—and its contribution to patient-centered care and the development of healthcare systems.

The workshop attracted significant interest from participants. Due to active engagement and numerous questions, the session extended beyond its scheduled time, and the team received invitations for future collaborations.

This international experience provided new perspectives for the team while reinforcing efforts toward the further development and expansion of the community-based education model at Qarabağ University.
