Nijat Gasim, Senior Lecturer in Biostatistics and Econometrics at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Karabakh University, has been awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics by decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

N. Gasim successfully defended his dissertation entitled “A Comparative Study on the Forecasting Performance of Time-Varying Coefficient Models.”
