Turana Turkoglu
Background
Turana Turkoglu - serves as a Lecturer at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Qarabağ University and as the Deputy Director for Nursing Affairs. She completed her undergraduate education in Midwifery at Ankara University and later obtained her Master’s degree in Midwifery from Eskişehir Osmangazi University.
Her academic and professional interests focus on neonatal and early childhood health, clinical and community-based research on breastfeeding and lactation, public health and preventive healthcare services, as well as the development of nursing and midwifery service models.
Turkoglu combines academic teaching with practical healthcare experience. She actively contributes to the development of students’ clinical skills, the implementation of simulation-based education methods, and the improvement of curriculum models in medical and nursing education. She also participates in initiatives related to academic–clinical integration and the continuous professional development of healthcare professionals.
