Assoc. Prof. Nilufer Demiral Yilmaz is an expert in bridging the gap between health sciences and educational sciences.
With five years of clinical experience in nursing, she developed a solid foundation in health protection and care delivery. Her transition to educational sciences was fueled by a commitment to interdisciplinary development, allowing her to integrate clinical insights into academic frameworks. Moving from the clinic to the Department of Medical Education, she now applies her expertise in curriculum development and the training of future health professionals.
Beyond her academic role, she is a dedicated advocate for social accountability in health education. As the Executive Director of the TUFH Türkiye Center of Excellence, she leads international initiatives focused on community-oriented health professional education and global collaboration.
