Mushfig Orujov
Background
Mushfig Orujov - PhD, Associate Professor, serves as the Head of the Fundamental Medical Sciences Division at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Qarabağ University and works as a pathologist at Qarabağ University Clinic.
He completed his medical education at Azerbaijan Medical University and later obtained his doctoral degree at the same institution. Between 2002 and 2025, Dr. Orujov held several academic positions at Azerbaijan Medical University, including Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Head of the Educational Department within the departments of Histology, Human Anatomy, and Pathology.
From 2019 to 2025, he served as Head of the International Relations Department at Azerbaijan Medical University. Between 2013 and 2014, he worked as a department head at Khazar University.
Dr. Orujov was a Fulbright Scholar (2018–2019) and conducted research at the Cleveland Clinic in the United States. His scientific interests primarily focus on liver pathology and the morphology of the nervous system.
