Ikram Rustamov
Background
Ikram Rustamov - PhD in Medical Sciences, is the Chief Physician of Qarabağ University Clinic and Deputy Dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at Qarabağ University. He received his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (1997–2003) and later completed his residency training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the same institution between 2004 and 2009.
Dr. Rustamov has extensive clinical and academic experience in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals as well as several book chapters. His research primarily focuses on the clinical characteristics of depressive disorders in children and adolescents, comorbid psychiatric diagnoses, social stigma related to mental illness, and community-based approaches to mental health services.
Dr. Rustamov has also presented his research at various international scientific events, including the annual meetings of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and other international conferences.
