Gulshah Unsal Jafarov
Background
Gulshah Unsal Jafarov - completed her PhD in Nursing Management at Istanbul University in 2021. Throughout her academic career, she has taught in various universities in the field of nursing education and has actively contributed to curriculum development and academic program design in nursing, health education, first aid, emergency care, and audiology.
She has served in academic leadership roles, including program director of First and Emergency Aid programs and head of an Audiology department. Alongside her academic responsibilities, Dr. Unsal Jafarov has also maintained clinical practice, working as a nurse in leading healthcare institutions such as Istanbul University hospitals and the Florence Nightingale medical system.
Since 2025, she has been serving as the Director of the Nursing Program at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Qarabağ University. At the same time, she works as Chief Nurse for Training and Development at Qarabağ University Clinic, contributing to the development of an integrated clinical–academic training model.
Her academic work focuses primarily on nursing education and management, health education, and the development of healthcare systems. She has authored several scientific articles and book chapters in national and international publications.
